I wasn't ready
I wasn't ready

Looking back on my career I think about a lot of things I could have done better. When I go through some of my earliest work it makes me cringe a little thinking of all the things I would do differently with the knowledge and skills I’ve acquired since then. There was so much I didn’t understand at the time. I feel like I just stumbled into much of it blindly and just kind of figured it out as I went. I wasn't ready but somehow I got through it and got a little better with each job.  No matter how hard you try you're never really “ready”. There’s no such thing as “ready”. There’s always more to learn, skills to acquire and improvements to make but if there’s one thing I’ve learned it’s that if you wait until you think you're ready a lot of opportunities are going to pass you by. Sometimes you just have to dive in head first and figure it out as you go.
